We are proud of our strong links with the local community; we ensure our curriculum not only adheres to the national curriculum but also addresses the specific needs of the community we serve. This commitment is further enhanced by a broad extra-curricular offer, including successful participation in local sporting competitions. These experiences empower our children to know more and remember more.

As our pupils’ transition through Wrekin View, they experience a coherently planned curriculum that provides opportunities for knowledge and skills to be revisited, embedded, and built upon. We recognise that improving educational outcomes is the most significant way we can positively impact our children’s futures. We have strong links with our local secondary schools who are also part of our family of schools as part of the Learning Community Trust, enabling us to ensure that our pupils have a smooth transition to their local secondary school.

We ensure that children who are vulnerable and children with additional needs can access all learning through thoughtfully planned lessons and resources. Teachers adapt support materials and plan for children to achieve, regardless of their starting points.

With a strong emphasis on communication, our children are taught to listen, challenge, and engage with each other to solve problems and work collaboratively. Our curriculum empowers our children to contribute positively to their community and the wider world.

Join us at Wrekin View Primary School and Nursery where every pupil’s educational journey is realised with respect and celebration.
