Homework

We actively encourage students to learn further through home learning. Each class teacher will establish a home learning routine for their class, in line with the academy home learning policy.  The tasks set are designed to support learning and to give practice in basic skills.

Each half term students are encouraged to complete a challenge sheet. The challenges undertaken aim to encourage positive habits at home, a pleasure of reading and enjoyable social activities.

We hope that parents/carers will encourage their child to complete the task and help and support when appropriate. Class teachers are always willing to discuss ways in which parents/carers might help their children.

We also promote reading for pleasure. Students are entitled a free library card within Telford & Wrekin and we also have a small library based at Kickstart Endeavour and Kickstart Power that all students can access.
